Fish Fanatic
Hi
Just to introduce myself and say how excited I am to be collecting my new tank this weekend - Juwel Vision 260. I look forward to building this up over the next few weeks and sharing experiences with you all.
I have a history with Tropical fish, from as early as I can remember I have always had a tank, along with my Dad. Ranging from tiny plastic to 2footers to my most recent a Juwel Vision 180. (Pics to follow in the appropriate section.)
The 260 is to be my largest yet and I plan to really set it up for planting with a idea to have as least maintenance as possible due to heavy work commitments but I still hope to get that really natural look. Hence I will be sticking with the standard internal filter as they are so easy to maintain.
My first task is to empty the 180 so I can move it and set up the 260. I plan to leave it running for at least a week to build up some 'baccy' (My slang for bacteria!) and get the flows settled before adding a few fish and slowly build up from there.
Will be interesting having both tanks going until the full transfer is made which I will love but the Mrs might not be so keen, lol
Anyway, I look forward to sharing my experiences with you all.
Thanks
Lee
