Whats This?

I've just seen a worm or somthing in the tank! its quite long, thin and pale yellow. I've tried taking a picture, but it wasnt clear. what is it? i've just put abit of extra sand into today so im guessing its from that. is it good or bad?

It is probably a bristle worm but hard to say without pictures

well its disappeared now, but it was more sand coloured than that?
I think it just curled up in a ball and jump infront of the fan and floated away.
