whats this on my snail?

im just wondering if anyone knows what this thing is sticking out of my snail. its the long clearish white thing - its bigger than my snail and it has orangy blotches on him

both of them have it im not sure if it is that my axolotls have damaged them because i had 5 and 3 got killed within a week but these ones have survived a few months.
