No, not really.

They aren't really rare, but they can be quite pricey. Aquabid.com usually has quite a few up for auction.

Flowerhorns are a hybrid of different cichlids. From what I understand they are considered lucky in some Asian countries, and the size of the head bump / quality of the side markings determines the price.

flowerhorn no doubt. price depends on the color intensity and the bump on the head.

dont expect to be stock the tank with anything else because the flowerhorn will kill it. you can get some for as cheap as 10 bucks for the low quality ones and 20 bucks for a high quality fry.
