Hi,
The upside down funnel you see is probably a Drop Checker...It tells you by colour if the Co2 you have in the tank is o.k. for both fish and plants...(Blue .. not enough for plants, o.k. for fish....Green Good for plants and fish.. Yellow Too much will harm fish).. As regards a Diffuser if you type "Aquarium Diffuser in google Loads of internet fish shops sell them as well as e.bay...

Regards Zac

My CO2 line goes straight into my powerhead inlet, and the powerhead shreds the bubbles into a fine mist. This seems to be a pretty efficient way to dissolve the CO2, and I don't need to add another unsightly gadget inside my tank. This can be a matter of trial and error, however, as some types of powerhead will make an unbearable noise when you do this, and/or they can get damaged or stop working if the gas accumulates in the impeller chamber.
