not much to be honest... trying to get rid of algae and looking at some nice blue shrimps and co2 system i want for xmas >.>

Yeah I'm trying to get rid of algae to I would not put CO2 in your tank because your algae will get worse try and keep your lights on less and that will help kill it off and I like that tank of yours TetraUK its looking good I'm looking around for a smell tank like thank I think they look really good all done up in a bedroom or a home offices what fish have you go mike455555 ?

Well, Christmas eve is 3 months since my dog died so that pretty much sucks but I've taught my rats to walk like Mr Burns which is HILARIOUS. And I aquascaped the community tank last night and it looks pretty good for once. It'll look better when the algae carpet grows in. Looks like a square of plastic at the moment lol.

the tank the co2 is going in hasn't got a problem with algae. its another tank ;p co2 doesn't cause algae nor does nitrates or phosphates.

fluctuating co2 does. help some algae out (like BBA)
nitrates can worsen the effect of algae if out of balance with the other minerals plants need. same with phosphates
circulation is key.

its stag horn algae im trying to get rid off out of 2 of my tanks (the sig one doesn't have it in..) and its cloudy water in my sig one im trying to get rid of. but it seems to be clearing up on its own. (new tank so i think its just settling down a little)

fish... in the sig tank? none at the moment...
in the tank iv got algae in 2 otos 2 guppies (its 20l, im planning on a betta in the future for it. i know its mean to keep them in there)
in my 120L iv got a female betta. endlers guppie,4 otos, 10 amano shrimp, 1 sunset platy (+3 fry), 10 neons

oh I see ahaha and cool I want to get a 20l tank how much are they around about I want something I can keep in my bedroom I have got my mean 200L tank in the living room got oscars in atm but I'm thinking of getting rid and getting my self some nice discus of a breeder I met about a month ago

What dog did you have blinky000 ?

Discus will need more than 200 litre to be at their best...

No I have oscars my mom and dad have got discus and the tank 24 high 18 wide 4 foot long is fine for discus I have asked 3 breeders now and they all said my tank will be fine
