Hello just wondering if anyone will tell me what kind my shrimp and plec are ! and please could u say if my guppy is pregnant ?

My guess is you have a Yamato / Amano / Japonica shrimp.

Common plec you have there.

Guppy.....any males with her?Looks pregnant to me.

thanks yeah ive got 3 male an 3 female i was after some more shrimp

the shrimp looks to be a bamboo shrimp or a common fan shrimp

he/she was a fiver .. was in a tank with nowhere to hide or anythin an loads of fish .. cant remember what they were so i bought it .. its shed its skin recently i'll post a pic of before an after !

Bamboo shrimp are filter feeding shrimp. They prefer to stay in an area to filter the food from the water, so you may see them out in the open or even clinging on to you filter intake.

Def a bamboo shrimp. You have 3 males and 3 female guppies! Youd need 6 females to have a ratio of 3 males to 6 females,so they dont get harassed!

Yep - Bamboo shrimp (I have one, they're ace aren't they?) and a common plec. The common plec will need to be returned I'm afraid, unless you have a much larger tank waiting for him.
