Well it finally arrived, my FREE! Fluval Ebi 30 Liter. I received this tank free by starting a subscription to Practical Fishkeeping Magazine. It took about a month to arrive, and i had my doubts, but now its here and Im excited. Heres a small first look at the tank.

Well it arrived well packaged, there seems to be no damage or scratches on the glass.

First peek into the box.

got everything out of the box, looks great.

opened up the Fluval Nano Filter, seems like a well built piece.

The Fluval Mini Power Compact Lamp lighting unit feels heavy and quality made.

came with substrate, Fluval Stratum, also came with a water conditioner, shrimp food. And a liquid mineral supplement for maintaining “general water hardness” optimal for shrimp. I wont be using it.
And this cool little telescopic mini shrimp net.

throw the top corner braces on, and pop on the lid

and there it is.

well before i had the tank i was really considering making my first marine tank. i really want to delve into that world of saltwater.

now seeing how fun it would be to make it into a little shrimp tank, i might try that.

its all up in the air to be honest.

id also have to remove the cool background for marine. which is kind of lame.

I looked on their website as well as i was very tempted

The original offer was for a pets at home 14ltr cube but there was an isuue with them so they stopped that offer and replaced the offer for the EBI or the fluval Flora. Considering the original offer was £35 worth of a tank I think it worked out great.
The subscription is £50 per year, the offer varies though, it could be an extra year free, a filter, air pump and so on.
