I recently got an adf and an albino cory from a child who had to get rid of them since he wasn't caring for them. The just got out of quarantine and were added to my 20 gal community. I've been watching them on and off all day and noticed thet the adf follows the albino all over the tank. I turned off the tank lights a while ago and the cory settled at the tank bottom. Up swam the adf and nosed itself under the cory. What's going on? I've seen it do this while they were in the quarantine tank but thought it may be because the tank is small but it's still doing it in the larger tank. :dunno:

Odd sounding, but maybe they just bonded, since they are each alone? I know the cories should be in atleast a group of 3, though I have a tank with just 2 albinos in it and they are great. You may want to add 1 more adf, too, as they really like company.
HTH!

I do have 2 other corys and the albino hangs with them but the adf follows and sticks close to him. Maybe they did bond as they were the only two in the childs tank for 6 months.

Hi,

I think adfs do better in groups, i have 7 now in a 2ft tank and they hang out together all the time. When i just had 2 they would follow each other round all the time.
