I Bought a 100G tank that came with a Under Gravel filter and 2 power heads, a Heater, a light, and everything else you would expect.

I was wondering when i set it up tomorrow, to use the Under gravel filter that came with it or buy a Sponge filter, I heard the Under gravel Filter is low Maintenance, I am just wondering which works best, Il be adding Hardy fish aswell.

Under gravel filters dont get much water going through them and every time you want to clean them you have to strip the holed tank down. If you want to fully stock your tank i would go for an external filter. A fluval FX5 would work well on that tank size.

Thanks, I'm going to order one online now, Il use the Undergravel filter until it comes. Thanks.

Depends on your stocking really. If it isn't broke don't fix it in my opinion. Though having said that UG are a hassle to clean as Kinzo said.
