Whats Best?

Ok as some of u know, if u posted in my other thread, I have a HalfMoon Mustard Gas Betta...
I have a few questions about where i should have him livin and whut i should have him living in (gravel or rocks)

Should i Have My buddy living in this setup?

Or this one?

(Just an example, its not my betta, I just have the same exact bowl)

And should i have him living with gravel, or rocks like what is in the smallworld tank

Myself i like gravel... it covers the bottome of the tank nicer then rocks... and id say keep ur fish in the tank.. looks bigger and easier to put plants in

I would go with the top one as well. I have quite a few of the same tank you show in your first photo and my bettas are quite content with thier homes. The main reason i would go with the top one is the fact that bettas are jumpers and you don't want to come home one day to a crispy fish when you didn't have to. I recently switched to natural rocks in most of my betta tanks because i feel that it gives it a nice earthy touch. Either way they are both fine choices it all comes down to personal preference.

id go wit the top, but both seem to be fine for a beta, u jus gott do water changes.

you can get small natural rock that is almost the size of gravel that is really pretty... its in my tank in the pic
