Give me an idea on the jobs...daily, weekly, monthly - wondering how much work is envolved compared to FW.....money not an issue but time is!

T

Same as FW.

Other tasks include:
1) Topoff the tank with pure water to maintain specific gravity. If you have an autotopoff system, this may only need be once every couple of weeks. If not, depending on heat, 2-4 times a week
2) I check s.g. 3-4 times a week
3) Make your own sea water or buy it. Weekly or every two weeks.
4) Check tank daily
5) Check pump screens weekly, check pumps monthly
6) Check tank daily
7) Scrape diatoms, frequency depends on how good your water parameters are
8) Check tank daily.....
9) Frag (prune) corals periodically

..to name a few. SH

For me,

Twice a day:
Top up with RO,
Feed,

Daily:
Visual check all pumps etc. are working and livestock all ok,
Check temperature,

Every few days:
Check salinity of water,
Scrape algae off glass,

Every two weeks:
Do water change,
Scrape corraline algae off the front and back glass.

for me daily: topping off with fresh ro water, doing visual checks of entire tank and hardware, monitoring temp

every other day: feeding fish & target feeding sun corals

couple times a week: target feeding my other lps

once a week: cleaning out skimmer's collection cup - about half full once a week

every other week or so: scraping algae, testing params

once a month or so: 20%-30% water change

i top off once every three, days, i check my tank for leaks in the pump or anything, check my sand, etc.

i check my levels once a week, if my nitrates are high, i will do a water change of 10 gallons.

feed everyday when i get fish (i have 1 now)

umm, other than that, scrap algea, make sure everything looks healthy.

water changes for me takes about 10 minutes, i have a system worked out..

cleaning glass isnt that much, i expect it to get easier once i get my cleaning crew...

My schedule...

Check temp every time I'm in the room (digital thermometer makes this easy)
Empty skimmer once every two days
top off every day
Check salinity every other day
Do 70-90% water changes every 10-20 days (depending on water params)
Check PH every time I'm in the room (pinpoint PH monitor)
Scrape coralline off front glass once a week
Prune back macroalgae in refugium once a week
That's about all I can think of right now...

70-90, wudnt that crash your tank...

Nope, with salinity, ph, and temp the same between the new water and water in tank there is nothing to worry about, been doing this for about 3 months now. Practiced by and highly recommended by Anthony Calfo, so I tried it, and the results are awesome!
