whats a nice fish that makes a tank look

rite im goin the fish shop in about half an hour and i want a few nice fish that will make my tank look more tropicalish


e.g. angel fish look nice


the fish i get i will need to know if they will fight wiv my fish, ive got

zebra danios,
plec,
tiger barbs
guppies

Parameters are the measurements of various compounds in the water. The important ones are:

Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate
pH

If you don't know anything about these, I would urge you to read this thread to learn more. Only when you have stable, healthy parameters can you safely add more fish.

How tall is the tank and what is it's capacity. Angel fish need quite a lot of room and good height in the tank (at least 18") as they grow tall.

As MH has said, you will need to find out the chemical values of the water before adding fish. You could get it tested at your petshop, and remember to ask them for the acual values rather than them saying 'it's fine'. You want 0 Amonia and NitrIte and no higher than 40 NitrAte.
