Hi

I'm currently cycling a my first tank, a 15 gallon, and want to have a purely ADF tank. The only local fuish store that sells them currently price them at 3 for £9 (about 15 dollars?). Is this a good price?

Sounds like a good deal to me, I couldnt find any locally, so had to go online, £3.50 each plus postage so Id say snap them up.

Have you got any in now?

no sorry Minx, Sold the last two yesterday,

although there is a small chance we may have some in tomorrow (which will go on sale saturday)
Never saw the order this week so can't be certain.

Pm me if you get some in tomorrow and I will try to get over for them when they go on sale :good: Im after another 3 to add to my 3 :)

Cheers for your replies - just wanted to check as this is the only shop that stocks them for miles.

I don't think they'll run out, I went a week ago and they had about 30 - no-one seemed to notice them.

They seemed very subdued - the tank was crowded my some 3-4inch fish that seemed to scare them - plus there weren't any hiding places :(

Are they more active on their own?

Also (sorry for the overload) as they are 3 for £9, can I add 3 at a time after cycling?

Sure you can, they dont produce much waste, in fact people do keep them without filters, as they arent keen on a strong current or the vibrations of a filter, so if you can make sure yours has a slow flow or is angled so as not to blast them around, plus doesnt shake the tank.

Whereabouts are you out of interest?
