I have 35gallon hexagon aquarium currently not in use. Just out of curiosity, i wanted to know whats the biggest fish that you could put into this tank that would live peacefully by itself without any other tank mates. If you had this option, what would you put in? Just a thought

angels would probably work or cichlids maybe. is it tall or wide or equal?

the tank is tall, and ive kept angels and cichlids in this type of tank successfully. I was wondering whats the biggest fish that would live peacfully by itself in this type of tank. Thanks for the response! :good:

What are the dimensions of the tank? This is more important then the volume, generally tall tanks give you a limited choice.

Nothing big realy. If ou want something big you need a tank that 35g long. Why not have dwarf cichlids or shell dwellers. You could have rams, kirbs, apistogramma's.Theres lots to dicide from

with a narrow tall tank, it would be wasted with a something that stuck at the bottom or top.

As said, Angels or the sort works.

Also something that enjoys it's own space. Fire eels, reed fish or really tall plants a a large school of tetra, characins, barbs will look cool.

A solitary Pirahna might be ok, but don't know the dimensions.
