What Kind of sand would i need?

Well you already ha ve t5 tubes, you could just change the tubes to Marine

Pipe work for a sump - i don't have a sump, so no pipework! The pipework takes the water to and from the tank to the sump

What Kind of sand would i need?

Aragonite

What type of food do they eat?

All according what fish you are talking about

Do They need Good filteration?

As do all fish :good:

OMG every couple of hours would be a nightmare :look: every couple of days is fine

How many water changes a week?

In a tank your size, 1 x a week of approx 20%

What Type of water test kit do you need?

the salt dissolves in the water, so no, it doesn't sink to the bottom! We have powerheads in the tank to keep a good flow of water over the live rock to keep bacteria alive (thats what makes live rock, live)

most soft corals, but not all are easy to keep along with a few lps such as euphyllia. Stay away from sps (you will have to go and do your h/w to find out what sps and lps means :p)

:hyper: I Will Infact start Reasearching small things first.

Add most of what i've learnt on Notepad. Then add it up here! :) :good:

Knox, I don't want to stem your enthusiasm but have you had a look at the cost of marine equipment and running costs - never mind fish etc? Bearing in mind that right now you can't afford a test kit for your tropical tank maybe you need to research that side first before getting your heart set on a marine tank? It may be something you need to wait for until you have a job and can fund it yourself?

:p Im Not setting one up Just yet. :good: Its a Future "things To Do."

I Am Simply Just preparing for the marine things witch i will be setting up in 2011 ( at the latest ) And After June Saving up towards marine life.

( Gives me 6 months to sort out my current aquairum )

And Yes Hopefully the test kit will come soon as i ordered one last night :good:

And Yes. i have seen the costs for marine aquiarums.

They can cost well over £1000 On equitment alone. :good:

Another Edit :

Even if i Cant set it up myself. I Can Still Try :good: And if i figure its too much work then i will remain on tropicals.
