I'm going to be making a canopy top, well more of what the lighthood itself will rest on... Not too sure what you'd call it, a canopy? Anyways, I'm trying to make it for as little money as I can since the tank is an odd size and I have to spend $80 on the lighthood already... What would be a cheap and easy to cut wood that would be easy to built this top out of? My homedepot has some good sized pieces of plywood for like $15-20... would that be okay?
