What Type Of Snail?

I just got a new snail and wnat to know what it's called and any info on it if knowen!

looks like what they sell as apple snails around here

its a tad more stripey than any apple snail ive seen tho they might be different in different places.

edit : ok now ive seen it all they have their own web address the internet is far too detailed sometimes.
edit2: its not the columbian giant rams horn ither like on this page wow i didnt know i could eat them... hmm

after looking at jams link i would definatly say apple snail, Asolene spixi variety

Dont laugh, but I am a member there... In fact, one of the girls on there is sending me some snails today! lol, I needed them for my tank, and she had a bunch of extra ones... *whispers* Plus, my puffers will love em... *end whisper*
