What Type Of Pleco

I,ve got a 55 gallon tank that is semi-planted. I have two oto's in it (bought three but one died). My brown algea problem has come back ( i have no other type of algea in my tank) and i was wondering if anybody knows of a good pleco to go in the tank or should i just get two more oto's. I thought a very intresting looking plecxo would be fun, i saw a pleco that was green with yellow spots on it at my lfs and it was called something like a spotted mango pleco?

Most of the fancy kinds dont bother with algae, I know my mango will not eat it.

I would get more ottos if I were you as they are happiest in shoals(something like 8-10 would be perfect).You could also try a bristlenose pl*co.

Hi,

Bristlenose plecs are great for eating algea. I have them together with otos and they keep the tank spotless.
