im not new to cories as ive had pygmy cories before but i just wanted your opinion on what type of cory cats go best into a 10 gallon planted tank, with a cave.its all cycled etc as ive had it a while. they are no other bottom dwellers, only platies.i didnt really want pygmy corys again as i already have them and they are very expensive at my local fish shop, i was thinking about albinos or pandas, about 3, or would that be too much, could i get 1 panda, 1 albino and 1 other? im sorry to you all as you must get lots of these types of questions, but nothing ive read can really answer my question directly.
any comments welcome
cheers

10 gallons is pretty small! The ideal Cory would, unfortunately for you, be Pygmy Cory's...

You would have to hunt for these Cory's a bit... but they would be well suited to your setup:

C.habrosus, C.hastatus, C.griseus and C.gracilis... There are others, but these were the ones that came straight from the top of my head!

I'm going to disagree with Corin Castle, you can keep most species of
corys in a 10 gallon, provided you keep them on their own in groups
of 4-6. How many platies are there? Otherwise the dwarf species as Corin
Castle mentions are your only options.

Corydoras Aeneus is a good first breeding project for a new cory keeper.
But for this they must be in a species tank. I've found 10 gallons.

Your best choice is to stick with pygmys or some other species.

i only have 3 platies in their,(2F, 1M) they do have fry every month or so but the fry stay in the tank and im not bothered if they get eaten.corin castle:"C.habrosus, C.hastatus, C.griseus and C.gracilis" do you have any pics of these types of corys, i didnt realise they were so many pygmys, my fish shop sell them as "dwarf corys".
again, any pics of "Corydoras Aeneus "i haven theard of these, but i dont know many latin names, mostly common names, what special tank needs do they have to have to survive,i would mind them breeding, but again arnt fussed if they dont. if i have to, i will get pygmy corys again, but i was really hoping for something different, anyother bottomdwellers you know of?
