Hey, no one would reply in another forum i was in so im gonna post it here,
but anyway....I was wonderin if my fish ever get ick, should i use "Quick Cure" or "Aquarium Salt"? What do u think would work best?

depends on the fish. since it thrives in colder temps at the first sign of ich you should raise the temp slowly to over 82 degrees. ich cannot survive at this high temp. salt and meds can be administered to the entire tank. if only one fish shows symptoms, the entire tank still needs to be treated. do not isolate the fish. scaleless fish cannot handle salt or some of the ich meds. it can burn the fish. if you are administering meds, remove carbon from the filter as it will remove the meds. ich needs to be treated for 10 days after the fish show no sign. this gets any parasites that can be free swimming.

Quick Cure for sure. I have used that a million time on all sorts of fish. I think you need to take the carbon out of your filter if thats what you use... so make sure you read the instructions carefully
