Hi all, currently i have set up a diy yeast based co2 system with an air stone at the end. Im very happy with the system(only running 2 weeks) but my proplem lyes with the air stone! The co2 bubbles dont stay incontact with the water long enough so i was wondering what i could use instead, or even make(im pretty handy at the old diy B-) )

thanks neil.

You might look into one of the bubble ladders like they use on some of the commercial DIY CO2 kits. Each bubble is released at the bottom of the ladder and then must go back and forth while slowly climbing up the ladder. It gives you several seconds of exposure of the bubble to the water. If you have a slow producing DIY set up, it allows the bubble to dissolve completely.
