What To Put In My 5 Gal. Tank?

I'm getting a used 5 gallontank from a friend. What kind of fish could I put in it? Common, low priced fish is what I'm looking for, but would like input first.

You would only get 1 male betta in there. its too small for anything else. or possible an ADF. shure someone will correct me if im wrong

5 gallon? You could get a dwarf puffer, or ADF with a betta- ghost shrimp, yaaa

go for some low light plants, wood and a male betta

You could have about 1 inch of fish per gallon so go by that.

Can't go by that, thats only for stocking but most 1 inch fish dont want a 1 gallon tank.
