I'd really like to add something to my 10gallon. However, I'm very indecisive, and I don't know how mant threads there are like this (I know I know, )but I need your input guys (Or else I'll never choose :*) :X )
What would be best? I thought 3 cories Might not be happy in my tank, and I don't think I could fit 4 although I'm not sure. I might just go get 2 female Platies for my male, but then I get fry, cute and all, but no room lol. Here is my sort-of, questionable wants lol

Cories -as said, not sure if they'd be happy
Platy-2 females maybe for my male?
More Cherry barbs-Build up the stock of them a little? Maybe another 2 female, 1 male? They seem happy as pie already though.
Small Gourami? Should I try another Dwarf? A few Sparkling maybe?
Female Betta-Definately not sure on this one, but might as well give it as idea
A german ram?-Should I wait till upgrade and get a pair? lol

Any other ideas appreciated. I like hardier types, but I keep up water changes and vac once every week, then again most fish need that :p lol silly...

10g works best with guppy or tetra. Other fish require more space to swim and hide. I will go with platty on ur selection. Other fish tend to require more space then 10g.

I say Cories. I think a trio of some kind of small Cory would be nice, or even a larger group of Pgymy Cories, though they tend to stay more middle/bottom then just bottom.

I wouldn't get female Platies, you will be OVER-RUN with fry.

Cherry Barbs - maybe, but if they are happy, I don't see any reason to mess with it. Trios usually work well. But a group would be pretty.

Female Betta - Maybe....But I worry about the male Platy nipping on her, or her nipping on some other fish.

Dwarf Gourami - He'd work. However, I think you already have enough top/middle fish.

Yes, I am probably just as indecisive as you, and this post probably didn't help at all...but I say Cories. :)

I just feel like they might be unhappy, because I dont think I could get a big enough group for them to be happy in this current tank, but when i get to the lfs is really the chooser...If they have cute, healthy cories, and sickly dwarf gouramis, I might try a trio of them. I just thought dwarf gourami because I dont want to overstock. The female Betta is out of question, my Platy is a nippy little bum, when it comes to long fins (Got my last guppy:()

Hmm, I've been thinking cories for a long time, but feel if I do want to get them, I'll have to change my substrate, which I plan on turning to sand in my upgrade tank later on, and also getting a nice shoal of 4 or 5, instead of just squeezing them in and keeping them with gravel, I'd rather them happy, with lots of room and friends lol. So now with this thought, I think i'll hold off the cories, and get a Dwarf Gourami for now...least this is my moentary thought, lol.
