What To Have?

Hi,im getting a cube tank hopefully, i think its roughly 8-12g (Uk) i want some cherry shrimp (5+) and wanted some small shoaling fish to go in it. I want them to be as small as possible so i can have more. I think small in size but more ilooks alot better than big in size small in group. Can any of you guys help me decide somethin which is small but different?

Maybe some Boraras maculatus? They grow up to about 3 cm I think...

The Ember Tetra, Hyphessobrycon amandae stay small and I've seen a few of them around recently so maybe easy to source. Other Boraras species are also a good idea if you can find them. B. urophthalmoides, B. merah or B. brigittae for example.

ember tetras! had 4-5 of these a couple of years ago! i loved um,never thought about them before. Only had them in the lfs once. I think i have found the fish i am after!! woopy Thanks peeps.
