So today I bought some ghost shrimp, and one or two are just loaded with green eggs. They are going into a betta tank, and I know he'll eat them the second they are floating. I was wondering If I could put them in a gallon pitcher with some live plants, and hopefully get some shrimp babies? Not like they're expensive or anything, just wouldn't mind having some more. Any advice would be great.

I've tried breeding my ghost shrimp. It's tough. Besides, when the pleopods are green, it means the female hasn't had them fertilized yet (I think... Or it means they are a ways away). They are a very healthy snack, though, so it may just be best to leave the females where they are.

Alright. I've had them breed before, but unfortunately my betta wiped them out. Guess he'll get another snack.
Thanks for the help!
