What to do with my ADF

My ADF has a broken leg and possibly an injured arm as well. I've put im in a breeder net so I can monitor it fed him some bloodworms, but I'm wondering what to do. Poor thing cant swim porperly, I'm wondering if I... oh I dont know. What do you think?

You will probably need to take him to a vet, that's just my opion, good luck.

I don't know what you should do, I'd just separate him and hope he heals up well. Do you know how it happened, and if he heals up is it in danger of happening again?

I'm not sure what happened to it. Maybe it injured itself on the filter or something, but it's sure not looking too good. I have to help it to the surface for air and it really won't eat anything. Can I take an ADF to a vet?

Call a few nearby vets, you'll most likely need to find a specialty place if you really want to save it--It took me quite a few calls just to find someone to take care of my ferret

Even if you could take him to a vet, I don't know what they could really do for it with a broken leg Personally I'd give him a while to see if he learns to work around it, but if he's not eating or able to get to the surface on his own that's not looking good

Maybe ask the LFS where you got it from if they know of any vets that treat amphibians. Poor little thing, hope it gets better.....

Sorry guys, but what are you expecting a vet to do? Put a little cast on his leg? I'm not trying to sound heartless, but be a little realistic here

Yeah I can't imagine a vet to do too much Just try to take care of him, hoprfully the leg will heal or the frog can leqarn to live without it Good luck

just wanted to let you know that my little adf [hedwig] just died. She just wasn't the same since her little pal Trevor bought the farm about a month and a half ago. She probably missed him. All frogs go to heaven. Anyway, the pain of her broken limbs may have been a little much for her, she couldn't swim well and although she tried, it was just to hard for her. rip hedwig
