yesterday i did a 20% water change and today a 10% one in 50g. in an attempt to lower the ph i also switched my new air pump of to help lower the ph. i hav also lost 6 neons.

anyway i was wondering what i should do next, obviously i should do some 10% changes for the next few days until the ph returns to normal.

should i cycle the tank if so for how long?

if the ph equalizes can i buy some more fish this weekend?

or something else?

in the tank at the moment
1 kissing gorami
6 neons (lost to each day for the last few days so fingers crossed i don't lose anymore)
6 golden barbs
2 cory's
1 leopard plec

changing water isnt going to change your pH
except in very extreme cases the pH of your tank will be very close to (if not equal to) the pH of your tap water
dont know anything of the history of your tank, but are you sure its the pH killing them?

if it is a pH problem i would probably choose different fish to keep

i have also never heard of air lowering or raising the ph. have you tested for nitrite or ammonia? nitrite is the silent killer IMHO. sometimes it creeps up on you. I dont think there is any worse water than my tap water. ph is about 7.8, hardness is through the roof- about 42 degrees. my fish have all done fine since it is the same water they are in at my lfs. Has to be something else in the water. Please let us know a little more info about your tank...age...cycle...nitrite...nitrate..ammonia...thanks
