What action or what can you do to keep tank at safe temp?

-Cover tank in lots of blankets/bubblewrap
-Dont open tank unless you can help it
-Bottles of warm water
-Lights on a few hours longer might heat water?
-Minimise feeding etc as cooler water will slow fishes metabolisms....

Battery powered air pumps to keep some movement going.

UPS to keep the filters flowing (won't last all that long, but it's better than nothing). You can also get 12V marine bilge pumps that can act as a backup off a car/leisure battery.

Generators in areas prone to prolonged outages.
