just read about mollies, which will probobly be the frst fish I am going to get, they get pregnant without a male in the tank? and give out not fry, but living fish in around a week or so and get pregnant every month or so.... Now that's cool!

Yeah, they need to copulate first.

Sperm packets which allow them to fertilize eggs later.

They "give birth" to living fish; they're not egglayers.

silly you,
fry ARE live fish
"fry" is the fish word for "baby fish"
and i beleive they do need a male....
but i could be wrong
they sometimes come home from the store already pregnant
since they are mixed with males ;)

I know mollies can store sperm for 5 or 6 drops,so you may get one who has babies whether you like it or not.
