What The Heck ?

I just bought 2 1m 1f guppies for my daughters 5 gallon. It is a new set up. I also put in an otto. Now I'm not new to this fish keeping thing. I seeded the tank with a filter sponge from my tank a handful of gravel from my tank and declored the water, temp fine and when I check the water things look fine. We added them last night after the tank was stable.
However ( and this is the problem ) They are hiding back top corner of the tank. I planned on a bit of stress and needing to chill so we bought and added them just before my kids bedtime so they (the fish) could " be alone" and after a bit have the light off. But there they are still chilling up at the top!!!!
What gives ?

maybe they are just stressed, still getting used to their new home.
just give them a bit more time and they will come around gyppies usually do great little fish.

I would leave it with that and don't add anymore fish (and hope the guppies don't have babies unless you set up another tank). It probably is just stress to the new tank and being moved from another. give it a couple days and you should be fine
