Hi everyone,
I noticed this a few days ago on my neon tetra. It almost looks like waste that the poor fish can't seem to get to detach, but I'm not really sure. So far, the fish seems to be acting normal and is still schooling with the other neons. I thought at first that this may be ich, but it really doesn't look like any of the pictures I've seen. My wife mentioned maybe its the intestines hanging out...I really hope it isn't anything where I'll have to put the poor guy down =(
Can anybody give me some insight on whether this is serious or how to treat? This is a 45 gallon aquarium with 8 neon tetras, 7 raspboras, 1 albino pleco, 1 bristlenose pleco and some live plants. All of the fish are very peaceful to one another.
Thank you!
Jason
