What the heck is that???

My male guppy has 2 long pink things coming out of his body...it's underneath him, about the mid point of his body...it's now covered with something that looks like white cotton. What the heck is it

I forgot to ask...i have white stuff growing on my glass and all over my plants...it's tiny little white specks...does anyone know what it is...I've just gotten over ich (i don't think it's that) so I've been medicating my tank...has that got to do with anything? Also, how do I get rid of it?

fungus possibly? though I don't know what to tell you about the pink things... I've heard of fish getting worms, is this maybe a possibility? I'm lost on that one, too!!!
