What Testing Kits For A Basic Marine Tank?

Im looking into buying the test kits now,

API was more in my budget, so i know i need the Basic Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Ph. (API Saltwater Kit)
But soon i will start a little reef, so what will i need to test then, if anything?

Looking at your sales thread...its in pounds. So im assuming your a Brit.

You can get all in one test kits from tMC or seachem, both are about £35 and cover the basic essentials.

The salifert kits are no more expensive than the API

Ive brought the API master saltwater kit
Maybe i should have looked at sailfert too.

Ill need add ons like Nemo said, so will look into that
