I have 1 comet goldfish, 1 shubunkin and 6 zebra danio's in my 15 Gallon filtered tank. What other fish can I put in there? I heard fancy goldfish and blackmoors get bullied by comets and shubunkins so they are ruled out. I know other danio varieties are an option but are there any other nice fish that will go well in a coldwater tank?
I went to my local pet shop and was shown a coldwater algae eater (can't remember what species/varietie), but the man behind the counter said they grow really fast and will outgrow my tank within a year!
Any ideas?

Don't want to burst your bubble but with the exception of the danios all the fish in your tank will grow far too large for it, or become stunted and die in the small environment. :( I wouldn't add any more fish of any variety, and would in fact advise you to be thinking of either buying a much larger tank or rehoming the goldfish to a filtered pond.

Both the comet and shubunkin are quite small at the moment (2 - 3 inches), and I will be transferring them into my friends pond once they get bigger. Meanwhile, what tankmates can I add? Preferably ones that won't outgrow the tank...

In a tank that small the bio load would just be too much for any other fish I suspect. What filter are you using and how long has it been running? Your options will only be greatly widened without the goldfish in there I'm afraid.
