Here's a few pictures of Fuse, what tail type do you think he is? :dunno:

I'd say a very nicely finned Veil, judging by the way the tail curves out from his body.

Yup. It is a veiltail. Look at the rays. Still branch out only two rays up to the end. His tail just been trim off.

Hahaha Have been trimmed off and not just trim off. LOL My bad english. Must been eating his tail so someone trimmed the tail so he looks better. Did you trim him in 3 weeks ago?

Been trimmed off?
They apparently don't have much feeling in their fins, so it's not as cruel as it sounds... I've heard of people trimming the fins of bettas with particularly heavy finnage so they can swim easier.

very nice veiltail, im not sure why larger veils arnt given a seperate name, they are look to be differant from the common small veil. very nice fish

hm...I think he's a wanna-be Halfmoon :fun:

He's GORGEOUS Kara! he looks like a really healthy, happy boy! Great job giving a handsome WM boy a wonderful home!!

I know trimming his tail sounds awful, but some people use this to prevent tail rot from spreading further. This is really only done in severe cases. I thought I was going to have to do it once, but luckily he started showing signs of improvement and is now great. He's a beautiful veil! Amazing how beautiful WM bettas can be when well taken care of!!
