i have 2 rams, the front half of their body is a gold colour and the back half is also gold but if you look at the back half in a certain light its a shiny blue they have some black bands on their body thier dorsal fin at the front is black and red the rest, they feeler sort of things like gouramis, they were labeled bolivian rams at the shop but they look more like golden rams? :/  -_-

nope they are bolivian rams golden rams don't have black bands :D  but rams are a yello colour mostly :D i think golden rams are sometiems slioghtly ornage aswell... i dunno :D

100% boliavian/ordianry ram!!! hehehe but they still kool look like my one too hehehe and rams only gorw to 7.5cm so they are dwarf cichlids :D

There are several varieties of Rams. There is the blue ram, the german ram, the Singapore Ram which gets a little larger than the Blue ram, is less colorful, and is not as hardy. The Golden ram is also a delicate fish, sporting a gold/yellow coloration. Then there is the popular Bolivian Ram Papiliochromis altispinossa-which is the largest and most robust of the Rams, and is known for taking better care of its eggs and fry.
