what snake could I get in a 36x18x12 I would like a big snake

i know many snake species can get very VERY large - big enough to endanger both animals and people.

you can't keep anything very large in there.

you could keep a royal python in that size

saying that ikept mine in a tank at first and had to buy a proper viv within a week as he escaped every night no matter what weight i put onthe lids as they are amazing escape artists.

A proper viv looks better anyway

no they need a larger viv

A black milk may work in that. You may want to get a bit of a bigger enclosure though for a very large specimen.

Well most pythons are huge..... I once saw a python constricting a kangaroo in ANIMAL PLANET. but I don't know much about snakes....espacialy in that size. the only snake I had ever kept was the corn snake.....
