I have a 35 gallon tank filled with pond fish that will be relocating SOON. I have my two "fantail" goldfish also mixed in with the bunch. What size tank would be good for those 2 when the others leave and I get rid of the 35 gallon?
I usually deal with Betta's, so I don't have a clue with Goldfish.
Thanks! :D

If you can hold onto that 35 it'll be a good keep. Goldies are massive waste producers so they require at the very least 10 gallons a fish, 15-20 per common or non-fancy. So 20 gallons with a 200 gph filter system will be perfect.

I would keep the 35 gal, but I hate it. It's way to tall and a royal pain to clean.
Don't think there's anyway I could keep them both in a 10 gallon with regular water changes?

if you put the fish in a 10 gallon you will need to upgrade them pretty soon as they grow fast. 20 gallon long would do at a push.
