Hi guys
I have a tank which measures 18inches long - 24inches high - 12inches wide

im question is wat size filter do i need?how much water should it pump?

Hi. So with those measurements you have about a 22 gallon aquarium. The filter should be able to pump 88-110 gallons per hour minimum. In my opinion a filter that could pump 100 gallons would be adequate, but a 150 gph filter would be even better.

Agreed on the Filter Rate.

But I think that if I caught your question right.
You were also asking about a heater?
i would say a 100 watt Heater would be fine as I've got one in my 29 Gallon Community Tank and it does GREAT. B)

Now if your room where you have your tank is chilly most of the time a 150 watt heater would be better.
Because the 100 watt will have a HARD time holding a steady Temp...
