I'm new to shrimps, and was wondering what kind of shrimp are easy to look after and feed?

I have a new 28 UK Gallon tank (33 US G's) ans was wondering how many ans what kind might be best for the novice
shrimp keeper.

Thank you.

ghost/glass shrimp are easy and cheap and you can probly keep over 100 in there

Amano (or Yamato) shrimps are pretty hardy and not too shy when you have a group of them.

I would start out with ghost shrimp, simply because they are cheap and as a beginner you are bound to make a mistake or two. May sound a little heartless, but it is true.

If you don't mind the chance to waste some money, get cherry shrimp. VERY hardy, and breed like rabbits.

Basic Shrimp Care

Provided nothing else is living in the tank, I'd say start with cherries. They need a cycled tank, but unlike amano and many "ghost shrimp" varieties, they'll breed quite easily.
