In case anyone has read my previous post about angels this post is about a different set of angels.

About a week ago I had one angel chasing another around. They are about the same size. My black angel started to look beat up so I put the bully in 10g for a week hoping it would teach him a lesson? I don't know.
so I put him back in the main tank last night. I check on them tonight and the black one is looking real bad. He is totally beat up has fin rot now and parts of him look white! i put a divider in the tank separating them. I wont treat my main tank with a anti bacterial. I thought of moving the black one to my 10g to treat him in there but I'm afaid it will stress him out. Should I just leave him in there and see what happens or just move him and treat. My water specs are good and I have a UV sterilizer going on the main tank so hopefully the water is super clean.
What should I do :-(

You can treat your main tank with melafix it is mild enough to where it wont mess with your cycle. I treat with melafix all the time with very good luck to I might add with the cycle and the problem. If you decide to not treat it in the tank that it is in then you need to move the angel and treat it. Fin rot can kill your fish too if left not treated..

I'd use melafix to, it's great for repairing damaged fins and it's a natural remedy too!

Good lick, let us know how it goes

i would move the sick fish out, either way he is going to get stressed, either with the move or the other fish attacking him. you may not be able to put him back in with the aggressive angel even if you successfully treat him.

Thanks for the replies, I really appreciate it. Well, I moved him to the 10g and I am treating with melafix. I know that no one else has experienced this but when I have used it in my main tanks it killed off good bacteria. Maybe I was using to high a dosage. I wouldn't be suprised now that I think of it, maybe I got tsp and tbsp mixed up.
Hopefully my baby will make it. I don't know if I should give the aggressive one away or just by another tall tank just for him. The aggressive one is in the main tank with a tiny angel and the tiny angel follows him all over the place. I guess due to his small size the bigger one isn't worried.

maybe the two big ones are males and the smallest may be a female? how big is the main tank?

29 or 30g I haven't figured out which yet. You may be right. Maybe they are two males. The real aggressive one used to pick on another angel I had. Then I moved two of them to a different 30g and they get on famously.

That is what i was going to recomend. It is very expensive but it helps a great deal.
