What should i do??

I have just finished treating my beta for fin rot. He just had his last dose today. I have been giving him beta fix and i think that the fin rot has stopped! YEAHHH!

Anyway my question is: The medication instructed me to give him a 7 day dose (1 dose every day) with no water changes. I assume tomorrow after it has been 24 hours since his last dose i should be changing his water. What i was wondering is should i do a complete water change or just half or what? I was told before that i should avoid full water changes since it might cause stress and cause the fin rot to return.

I am not sure what to do here so could someone please help me out?

HE is in a 1.5 gallon tank with an undergravel filter.

Sorry to hear your little guy is sick.

IMO you should only do a 50% water change, as not to stress him too much. Or even better, do a 25% water change say tomorrow, then wait 3 days and do another 25% water change, depending on how dirty his tank is. Leaving some medication in his tank, especially betta fix will not hurt him at all.
