what should i do with fry

my fish has not givin birth yet but i need to know what are signd for them about to have them and i dont have a breeding net i just put her in a seperate tank tonight. when do i know to take the mom out??? can the fry live in a tank with neons. oh and can you sell fry to stores or just to random people.cause i have heard they have alot. if so how old should they be. please if you have any info tell me. please

hi gurly - my neons ate my new born fry - they live in a diferent tank from my breeding guppies now !! - our LFS will only take my grown babies when they are about an inch or so long and the males are well coloured - it took some time but I've built up a good relationship with one LFS and they will usually take any babies - know that they are big, fat and healthy (and I spend lots of money there)

Yes neons wont let there own fry survive let alone others. Neons are extremely hard to breed. Anyway fry wont survive. Is it a neon were talking aobut? if so they are egg layers. If your serious about breeding them get a breeding tank
