What Plec To Get?

I'm looking to get a plec for my 3 foot tank but don't want one to grow to big. i have had plecs before and i had them for about 7 years and they grew to about 10". All i want to know is are the plecs that only grow to a couple of inches, and if so what are the called and can i get them in the UK?

Bristlenose are nice about 6" nice fish not expensive, very common , attractive, easy to breed, great algea eaters all round good plec you could get a trio. 1M 2F

Are ther anyothers that don't grow as big? they sound nice might get some if i can't get any smaler, easy to breed you say? how easy? have you got some?

Yeah i have two they are great fish and there are some other smaller plecs available such as A rubbernose are nice around 3-4" and clown plec around 5" but you never see them apparantly. BN breed like rabits depending on what is in your aquarium the fry will raise themselves.

There are also alot of others. That i dont know much about.
Zebra Pleco-Very very expensive should only keep to breed in a species only tank. About £120 per fish.

I don't mean to spam the boards here with my database, but here is a search I did for plecos, by searching for their family, Loricariidae. You can click on a column title, like "average adult size" to sort them by size.
The 2 possibilities it came up with (that others did not already suggest) are Pitbull Pleco, and Oto.

The database is still mostly catfish, but I'm adding a few fish per week. At least it has enough catfish in it to be usefull for that right away.

L134 - Leopard Frog Plec is a great fish

They get to about 4" and have great colourings etc

As a note - it will get to around 14" though - dosn't fit the bill

I'll 2nd the L134's very nice fish if you can find them
