What Plec Is This ?

what can i feed him with ? will he eat cucumber and lettuce ect ....

Sinking catfish pellets, cucumber, courgettes. My big L001 plec also likes half a small potato microwaved for 1 minute, That looks like a chocolate common plec. They grow huge, at least 18inches maybe bigger. If you don;t have room for a 6foot tank at least, Take it back to the shop ans swap for a bristlenose plec that grows less than 6inches

It's a common plec. They grow between 12" and 24", usually 12"-18". Very large fish that produces a lot of poo. If you have one of these you need to 100 gallon tank (at least) for an adult and you need extra filtration. You'll also need to do gravel cleans at least weekly, if not every 3-4 days, as they produce a lot of poo that will make the tank dirty.

My 4 inch blue phantom is only little and yet he makes the tank look horrible after a few days. I can't seem to get it clean! He's gorgeous though, so I forgive him.
