This morning when I woke up, I glanced in my tank and saw some of the sand under a piece of live rock moved and burrowed out. The lights weren't on yet, so I couldn't really get a good look at it... so I went and got a flashlight. I just wanted to make sure my shrimp or gobies hadn't dug out too much to make the rock fall over on something. While I had the flashlight, I decided to take a look around the rest of the tank too. I caught a glimpse of something moving, and shined the light on it real quick. It was a worm... but... not like the bristleworms I've seen before. This one didn't look like a segmented worm..... it just looked kinda like a normal round earthworm. The front of it kinda resembled a suction cup, or what my button polyps look like when they close up at night. When I shined the light on it, it went back into a hole in the rock.
I'm assuming its harmless as most hitchikers are.... but what is it, and what does it eat?
