whilst looking at my tank i spotted spots on the red platy......how can this be when i'm already treating the tank for white spot

the fish that did have it originally have cleared up.. just one more dose of treatment tomorrow.............

help!!!!!!!!!

The medicine that treats white spot doesn't kill the eggs of the parasite ( I think, I know it only kills them in one stage of life). So basically you have to keep treating the tank until all of the parasites are gone. The easiest way to do this is to completely strip the tank down and clean everything while having the fish in a separate tank or bowl.
