Even though you may have the urge, the proper thing to do in this scenario is leave the coca cola bottle to settle down. Then return at a later time to them open the bottle.

What not to do:

DO NOT....let me repeat.....DO NOT open the bottle. The results will be disastrous and you will NOT like the aftermath. Opening said bottle results in the following:

1.) Coca Cola in your face, hair, clothes.
2.) Coca Cola on all counters and surface around the area in which the bottle was opened.
3.) Coca Cola on the fish tank (thank go for lids and partial water changes)
4.) Coca Cola on the ceiling (yes the ceiling...two liter bottle shoot far when shaken!!)
5.) Coca Cola on the cat.
6.) Two hours of cleaning.
7.) Still finding random coca cola spots days after the incident.

Thank you for reading everyone! Learn from my FAIL.

Gotta admit, it was point 5 that cracked me up  Can just imagine it like, casually strolling along and then "WHAT THE BEJEESUS WAS THAT?!"

I think the worse part is just when I think I am done cleaning it, I find more!! mind you, I am laughing my tookus off the entire time. My husband is laughing at me for being blonde. And to top it all off, I did this while I was pretty intoxicated, so it was a darn three ring circus act trying to get this all under control!

Hehe, I've had this happen before - was sat next to someone at the dinner table when they dropped it, only it was already open.... and yes you're right, it does shoot up as far as the ceiling

We get Coke (Cola) from the vending machine at work and give it a good shake before handing it to someone as a gift.....

Anyway Dieses Whiskey is better without Coke.
