What Next?(Bio Ball Open Space)

Took the balls out of a tank that was a year old, did it slowly and fixed all problems. So now I have an open space in my 14g Biocube, I could fill it with live rock or is there anything that works better?

Yep your advice was perfect, I turned of power head, took rest of bio balls out, cleaned where they were, 7g water change and bam today they are perfect! nothing died everything fixed itself. Thanks for the help
